Egypt is a country in the northeast corner of Africa. Its full name is the Arab Republic of Egypt, and its population reaches about 80 million inhabitants. The capital is Cairo, where 16 million people live. Egypt is located in Africa, though a part of it pertains to the continent of Asia, specifically the Sinai Peninsula. Apart from the desert in the country, there are 20-something national parks of more than 50,000 km2, that's 6% of the country's territory. The Elba National Park is the most visited of them.
